Edwardian 14ct, 14k, 585 rose gold Diamond & Emerald trilogy bar brooch, tie pin, Circa 1905 A classic bar brooch featuring a central 4×3.8mm Emerald flanked by two 3mm Diamonds mounted in a claw setting in the centre of a knife edged bar brooch. All beautifully made in 14 carat rose gold. Complete with double pin and C- clasp style fitting. The diamonds are lovely deep old-cut gemstones, they are bright and eye clean with an estimated colour F, clarity VVs1 and total carat weight of 0.30ct. The Emerald is a vivid green colour with characteristic tiny inclusions (known as jardin, the French word for garden, as the inclusions may look like branches or plant roots). Inclusions are a natural part of the character of the Emerald. There are some tiny chips on the surface of the emerald (only visible with a jewellers loupe) it has a carat weight of around 0.25ct.
