Lovelady Diamond Item Number 3259 Antique Bar Pin Old Mine Cut Diamond, Black Onyx and 14K Yellow Gold. Antique bar pin in outstanding condition for it’s age. Lovely handmade piece from yesteryear! The bar pin measures 1 3/4 inch long by 2.25 mm. The onyx cone measures 14.5 mm in diameter by 5.4 mm tall. The old mine cut diamond is bezel set with an estimated weight of 0.08 carat, K color, SI2 clarity. We do note there are two small chips in the diamond which are visible under 10x magnification. We do note the onyx cone rotates freely, and this is how it was designed and mounted, it is not a defect. The piece is stamped 15CT or 15CI. It may be 15 karat, but we can only test and confirm it as 14 karat. Total weight for the piece is 2.71 grams.
