Edwardian 14k Yellow Gold Seed Pearl Turquoise Pin. Length is approx 57mm long by 8mm wide. Not marked but has been tested by my jeweler. The pin stem is not 14k but the brooch itself is. Pin and clasp operate perfectly. Weight is approx 4.8 grams. Patina noted and could use a cleaning. Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. This antique 14K yellow gold (tested) bar or scarf pin has an Etruscan design ball on each end. In the center, between two rows of filigree, are nine turquoise. The middle one is the largest and the other turquoise descend in size until they become tiny dots at the ends. The pin meaures 2 1/8 inches by 5/16 and weighs 4.5 grams. The stick and the clasp have been replaced a long time ago, by someone who did not know that the stick should match the brooch and be gold and the clasp should be the antique type. It has 2 round seed pearls in center of the horseshoes, they measure about 2.3mm each, with 8 smaller seed pearls in the bar of brooch. There are 12 square turquoise stones in each horseshoe. Some turquoise stones are more green in color than the others that are blue. The horseshoes are hinged and dangle from pin. Brooch measures 3/4″ in height at the highest point by 1-3/8″ in width.
