A STUNNING EDWARDIAN PERIOD 15 CARAT YELLOW GOLD BROOCH SET WITH A REAL SAPPHIRE & SEED PEARLS – C1900S. LOVELY QUALITY FULLY STAMPED & IN SPARKLING CONDITION! The brooch is stamped 15ct to the rear. It carries a safety chain hasp, bit one is not fitted. It dates from C1900s. The stones have been tested as real. The brooch weighs 2.82 grams and is fitted with its original gold clasp. Is made of 15ct yellow gold and is set in the Edwardian style and features a real light blue sapphire cabochon stone and is dressed with seed pearls. It has the original safety chain hasp and has the original gold clasp. The brooch measures 2.0 in length and is 0.5 wide. It is stamped 15ct to the rear and weighs 2.82 grams. It has a lovely period patina. This item is in vintage condition 1. The brooch is un marked and undamaged and only shows minor age related wear including minor marking to the stones and metal work. AJ HEDGES 14K GOLD ENAMEL SAPPHIRE & PEARL BAR PIN. The brooch measures approx 51 mm long and 7 mm wide. The pin is marked on the clasp 14K and a makers mark for AJ Hedges. The pin is in good condition overall. The pin stem is bent but sits securely in a fine working clasp. There is a dimple near one of the corner edges and enamel wear inside the pin, closet to where the framed sapphires are. The weight is 4.5 grams. Most of the items I sell are vintage or antique.
