THIS BAR IS FROM THE FIRST BARS POURED IN THE 70’S. I HAVE HAD THIS HOMESTAKE BAR AND OTHERS FOR OVER 20 YRS. I BOUGHT THIS ONE AND OTHERS IN RAPID CITY S. FROM THE COIN SHOP. EMPLOYEES AND OTHER COLLECTORS. I BOUGHT ALL THE HMC BARS AT SILVER PRICE PLUS SELLERS PREMIUM. I RESEARCHED THE HOMESTAKE BARS AND FOUND OUT IT WAS EXTREMELY RARE BEING THE FIRST BARS POURED IN THE 70’S LESS THAN 100 POURED. I HAVE SEEN THE WARNING FOR COUNTERFEIT HMC BARS ON. CHECK PHOTOS OF THE KNOWN HMC COUNTERFEIT BARS AND STAMP USED. YOU BE THE JUDGE TO ME IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE FAKES. I BOUGHT IT AT SILVER PRICE PLUS A SMALL PREMIUM NOT AS A RARE HMC BAR. INCLUDED ARE FRONT AND BACK PHOTOS AND CLOSEUP OF THE LOGO STAMP. FROM WHAT I CAN TELL THE FAKE STAMP WAS NOT COMPLETE ON NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST, PORTIONS OF THE CIRCLE STAMP. ALSO THE BACK OF MY BAR LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE FAKE EXAMPLES. THE BACK LOOKS LIKE THE 2 OTHER REAL EXAMPLES I FOUND ON THE WEB. Also the HMC stamp on my bar is full with no die breaks like the authentic bars. CONDITION GREAT DETAIL SLIGHTLY DULL SHINE NO TONING. WEIGHT 4.01 TROY OZ. Antique Edwardian 15ct Gold Squirrel Brooch c1905. A c harming Edwardian Naturalistic 15ct Gold Squirrel Brooch dating to c1905, which has been crafted to depict a’Squirrel Holding a Nut’ (please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item’s description). This fine quality Antique Brooch, which weighs 4.0 grams, has been beautifully crafted as a textured Squirrel Holding a Nut in it’s Hand represented by a Drilled 3.5mm Pearl. Pearl is a creamy-white colour, with Rose and Greenish Overtones. The Brooch measures approx’ 5.0cms long, while the Squirrel is approx’ 11.0mm high. Typical of the Period this fine quality Brooch is stamped on the reverse with a Fineness Mark’15ct’, confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold.
