Here is an impressive pair of 10 Karat Gold stick pins for sale. Both pieces are hallmarked and come with their original presentation box. All pieces in this lot are attractive and over a century old. Read on for more information. Please view our other stick pins that are up for sale. These lovely pins display traditional designs and are set with gemstones. Pair is believed to have been crafted in the early 20th century by Hopkins & Witty. This Dubuque, Iowa based company was in business from 1896 until 1923. Check out Picture Seven to learn more about them. Both stick pins are made of solid yellow gold and are hallmarked 10K. The total weight of both pins is 1.87 grams. The natural amethyst pin features a scroll setting and a faceted stone. It measures about 2-5/16 inches long and weighs. The diamond shaped pin has a small faceted stone in a center setting. Piece is nicely etched with a floral pattern. Stone type is unknown. It is 2-1/2 inches long and weighs. The presentation box was also issued by Hopkins and Witty. The silvery gray case is made of lightly textured velvet and has a Mother of Pearl closure button. The silk and velvet interior is crisp and attractive. This sturdy box has great snap and closure thanks to the brass hardware. Very light cabinet wear is noted. Pair (2) Victorian 14k Gold Krementz Vintage Seed Pearl Bar Lingerie Collar Lapel Pins Set. These little pins are exquisite, and in very fine condition. It’s difficult to find a matching pair, so I didn’t want to split them up. Each pin is prong-set with 13 lustrous natural seed pearls across the top of the bar. They measure 1 1/8″ long by 1/8″ wide. The two pins weigh 3.6 grams together, and they are in excellent vintage condition. I have a third seed pearl pin similar in style from another of my consignors, listed separately–please take a look! Antique Pair 14k Gold Enamel Seed Pearl Beauty Baby Lingerie Doll Bar Pins
This is a pair of antique 14K yellow gold (marked) white enamel beauty bar pins with three bezel-set, tiny seed pearls on each one. They have a locking C clasp with a maker’s mark of a stylized, conjoined JT. The pins are almost 1 1/8 inches wide by 3/16 inch high, and weigh 3.1 grams. Unfortunately, the enamel is scratched and there is a tiny chip on one tip; both pins have locking C clasps, however, one locking lever of one clasp is broken, leaving a small nub to serve as the lever (see close-up in 5th photo).
