These lovely pins display traditional designs and are set with gemstones. Pair is believed to have been crafted in the early 20th century by Hopkins & Witty. This Dubuque, Iowa based company was in business from 1896 until 1923. Check out Picture Seven to learn more about them. Both stick pins are made of solid yellow gold and are hallmarked 10K. The total weight of both pins is 1.87 grams. The natural amethyst pin features a scroll setting and a faceted stone. It measures about 2-5/16 inches long and weighs. The diamond shaped pin has a small faceted stone in a center setting. Piece is nicely etched with a floral pattern. Stone type is unknown. It is 2-1/2 inches long and weighs. The presentation box was also issued by Hopkins and Witty. The silvery gray case is made of lightly textured velvet and has a Mother of Pearl closure button. The silk and velvet interior is crisp and attractive. This sturdy box has great snap and closure thanks to the brass hardware. Very light cabinet wear is noted.
