Description: – A cased Art Deco period (c1920) platinum & gold 17 stone diamond bar brooch. The bar brooch is set with 17 diamonds with good clarity and sparkle totalling approximately 1.72cts. As was common for the period, the brooch is unhallmarked, and has been tested and confirmed to be platinum to the bar section and 9 carat gold minimum fineness to the pin. Period: – Early 20th Century. Date: – Circa 1920. Measurement: – The brooch measure 53mm (length) x 3.8mm (height) x 8.5mm (depth). The central diamond and the single diamond to each end measure approximately 3.8mm in diameter. The further 7 diamonds either side of the central diamond each measures 2.8mm. Weight: – 5.0 grams / 0.16 troy ounces. Item No: – 1304. Condition: – The brooch is in good condition. An attractive vintage Art Deco 18ct white gold watch chain. It has bar links with engine turned design and engraving to each of the bars, it has a white gold spring ring clasp. The dog clip has been replaced and is an older silver plated dog clip but this could easily be swapped out. Unmarked but tests as 18ct, English make c1930’s. 14.5 total length with clip. 0.75 bar link length. Approx 7.65 grams. Good used condition overall with some light surface wear and patina, replacement dog clip.
