Description: – A cased Art Deco period (c1920) platinum & gold 17 stone diamond bar brooch. The bar brooch is set with 17 diamonds with good clarity and sparkle totalling approximately 1.72cts. As was common for the period, the brooch is unhallmarked, and has been tested and confirmed to be platinum to the bar section and 9 carat gold minimum fineness to the pin. Period: – Early 20th Century. Date: – Circa 1920. Measurement: – The brooch measure 53mm (length) x 3.8mm (height) x 8.5mm (depth). The central diamond and the single diamond to each end measure approximately 3.8mm in diameter. The further 7 diamonds either side of the central diamond each measures 2.8mm. Weight: – 5.0 grams / 0.16 troy ounces. Item No: – 1304. Condition: – The brooch is in good condition. There are light surface scratches to the bar brooch as would be expected with the age and usage of the piece. The pin and clasp work perfectly. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
