Offered today is an EXQUISITE antique solid 14k yellow gold, genuine 1920s Art Deco, blue zircon and diamond floral brooch bar pin, in excellent condition. This is vintage Deco at its finest. Bar pins were so popular during this time period–everyone had to have one! The centerpiece is a 6 mm luminous blue zircon (about 1.25 ct) set in a coin-edge bezel, within an oval open shape in the gold. On each side, little flowers extend, with white gold heads, into which small. 02 ct single cut diamonds are set. The workmanship in this brooch is fabulous. This pretty bar pin measures 2″ side to side by 3/8″ top to bottom. It closes with an early locking C clasp upon which the 10k and maker’s mark are stamped. It is signed on the clasp, looks like a B in a diamond shape. It weighs 4 grams, and is in MINT vintage condition. What a nice gift this would make for the vintage jewelry collector! A STUNNING QUALITY ART NOUVEAU SUFFRAGETTE 9CT YELLOW GOLD BROOCH, & 1.94 GRAMS. GIVE WOMEN THE VOTE’ CRYSTAL SETTING! This is antique 9ct gold and marked to the rear, with the stamp. The setting feature’s the sought after G ive W omen the V ote crystal setting! This brooch dates from around 1895 or maybe a little earlier. The brooch has a really good carat weight of 1.94 grams. We are providing this brooch in a charming period retailers box and it will make a splendid gift? This type brooch is exceptionally rare todays market and were not available commercially in period, so many would have been adapted from period brooches by jobbing jewellers, resulting in some unusual designs and a large range of styles. This brooch is from an earlier period and would have been up to 10 years old when adapted and is of good quality, so a rare survivor? The glass stones featured are Peridot for Green, Amethyst for Violet, clear crystal for White, supposedly symbolizing the Suffragette movements mantra, Give Women the Vote? These colours were first adopted in C1900 and the colours represent G reen for Hope, W hite for purity and V iolet for dignity. Is in a wonderful classic period design and is made of 9ct gold. It is picked out in. Sparkling peridot, amethyst & clear crystals and real seed pearls. The overall affect is one of great charm. The brooch has a simple bar clasp to the rear which is in good order and is made of gold. The stamp is visible. The brooch measures 1.5” in length and is 0.25” wide. It has an outstanding period patina and has been well loved in the past. Is a charming period retailers presentation box in blue velvet, with a blue velvet pad. It has a lovely satin interior. It is vintage condition 1/2 and is undamaged, but shows age related wear to both the exterior and interior. It shows a wonderful period patina. This item is in vintage condition 1. There is no damage to any of the components apart from surface scratching to the larger glass crystals and some age related delamination to the metal work including minor marking to the metal, which does not detract from the items charm or wear ability.
