AN ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU PERIOD 18/19CT (852) YELLOW GOLD REAL AMETHYST CABOCHON. & SEED PEARL BAR BROOCH – C1900S & 4.37 GRAMS, PERIOD BOX. A REALLY STUNNING CUSTOM MADE TRILOGY BROOCH, QUITE WONDERFUL! The brooch is set with three real multifaceted and claw set cabochon stones surrounded by individually set matched seed pearls. This brooch is complete with the original bar clasp in gold. This superb brooch probably dates from C1900s or maybe a little later? It weighs 4.37 grams in total. It is presented in a lovely quality antique presentation box. About the gold quality. This item is stamped 852 to the rear and this indicates a very high quality gold content equivalent to 19k gold. We have tested the metal and confirm that it tests as higher than 18ct and we warrant it as such. Is a super item and measures 1.75 in total length whilst the central amethyst cabochon stone is 0.5 long and is 0.45 wide. The brooch has an integral hinged clasp which is the original gold item. Is an antique period presentation box in red. Leatherette with a lovely cream velvet pad and satin interior. The box is in antique condition 1/2 and is very good order, with only minor age related wear to the exterior, whilst the interior is excellent. The box has a good hinge and working clasp. This item is in antique condition 1. There is no damage to any of the stones and the meatal work is undamaged. The central stone is undamaged and due to its size, has survived in remarkable order. The pin is a 14K yellow gold filigree design topped with a platinum border and centered with a platinum square frame which is bead set with one approx 2.20mm OLD EUROPEAN CUT round brilliant diamond. A CHARMING ART NOUVEAU SUFFRAGETTE 15CT YELLOW GOLD BROOCH, SAFETY CHAIN & 2.53 GRAMS. PERIOD BOX STAMPED 1897! A TRUE ONE OF A KIND & A STUNNING GIFT! This is antique 15ct gold and marked to the rear, with the stamp. It is complete with a gold tone safety chain, which has a replacement clasp. This brooch dates from around 1895 or maybe a little earlier. The brooch has a really good carat weight of 2.53 grams. We are providing this brooch in a charming period retailers box and it will make a splendid gift? This type brooch is exceptionally rare todays market and were not available commercially in period, so many would have been adapted from period brooches by jobbing jewellers, resulting in some unusual designs and a large range of styles. This brooch is from an earlier period and would have been up to 10 years old when adapted and is of good quality, so a rare survivor? The glass stones featured are Peridot for Green, Amethyst for Violet, clear crystal for White, supposedly symbolizing the Suffragette movements mantra, Give Women the Vote? These colours were first adopted in C1900 and the colours represent G reen for Hope, W hite for purity and V iolet for dignity. Is in a wonderful classic period design and is made of 15ct gold. It is picked out in. Sparkling peridot, amethyst & clear crystals and real seed pearls. The overall affect is one of great charm. The brooch has a simple bar clasp to the rear which is in good order and is made of gold. The stamp is visible. Ii is fitted with a gold tone safety chain. The brooch measures 1.5” in length and is 0.25” wide. It has an outstanding period patina and has been well loved in the past. Is a charming period retailers presentation box in red leatherette, which is stamped 1897 in gold tone numbers. With a beige velvet pad. It has a lovely satin interior. It is vintage condition 1 and is undamaged, but shows minor age related wear to both the exterior and interior. It shows a wonderful period patina. This item is in vintage condition 1. There is no damage to any of the components apart from surface scratching to the larger glass crystals and some age related delamination to the metal work including minor marking to the metal, which does not detract from the items charm or wear ability. The stones are undamaged. The metal clasp is in good order and is fitted with a gold safety safety chain, which has an aged replacement hasp. The condition of the box is described above.
