This fine quality Antique Brooch, which weighs 4.0 grams, has been beautifully crafted as a textured Squirrel Holding a Nut in it’s Hand represented by a Drilled 3.5mm Pearl. Pearl is a creamy-white colour, with Rose and Greenish Overtones. The Brooch measures approx’ 5.0cms long, while the Squirrel is approx’ 11.0mm high. Typical of the Period this fine quality Brooch is stamped on the reverse with a Fineness Mark’15ct’, confirming that it is made from solid 15ct Gold. Overall it is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age – the bar is not perfectly straight, as shown, and there are light s. Urface scratches/wear in keeping with age & use.
