The large diamonds are then accented by a straight line of 24 rose cut diamonds that weigh approximately 0.70 carats in total and add a rich and authentic antique touch to this piece. Each of the 3 large diamonds, along with the rose cut stones, are framed with gorgeous milgrain etching. The pin on the back as well as the locking closure are in perfect and secure working condition. A REALLY CHARMING ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN PERIOD YELLOW GOLD GARNET SET BAR BROOCH, GOLD SAFETY CHAIN – C1910S. FULLY STAMPED & 5.4 GRAMS. A REALLY STUNNING ANTIQUE BROOCH & THE PERFECT GIFT! The brooch is fitted with a gold safety chain and is exceptionally original. This brooch probably dates from C1910/15s and weighs 5.4 grams. The gold content is tested as lower grade and is possibly 9ct, but maybe mixed with other metals as in early rolled gold items. It is stamped to the clasp. The stones have not been tested and whilst they appear to be authentic, this is not guaranteed and they maybe glass. The simple bar clasp is stamped with the assay mark. And appears to be the original. Measures 1.25 in diameter and is 0.75 in depth. The safety chain measures 2.0 in length. The total weight is 5.4 grams. This item is in vintage condition 1/2. The setting is in really good order and all of the elements are undamaged, although there is age related scratching to the metal work. The marks are fully visible. Antique 9ct Rose Gold Double Albertian Fob Watch Chain Graduated Link 40cm 1890s. Solid 9ct rose gold. Hallmarked 375 9ct, crown, anchor and PD&SS. The fob chain is a graduated link style (small link to large link). Each link is stamped 375. The fob chain is in marvellous condition, showing a few fine scratches and very small amounts of wear. The link style is a curb link. PD&SS were an unregistered jewellery distributor. Not much infomation is available online about the company. The gold purity of this fob chain has been tested and it was confirmed to be solid 9ct rose gold (37.5% purity). The chain has undergone no visible repairs during its life. All of the links are soldered, including all of the jump rings that hold the T-bar and dog clasps. The T-bar is original to the chain and it has never undergone any modifications. It is part of the chain rather than free floating like a pendant so it doesnt slide up and down the chain. The dog clasps are both original to the chain. One of the clasps is ever so slightly bent. Does not affect it one bit and it wont need repairs. The clasps are quite thick and they are showing the most overall wear on the chain. The wear is still very minimal and difficult to notice. No links have been added or removed. None of the links are showing any significant wear as the fob chain hasnt seen much use in its 120+ years. The chain was very dirty when I received it which is a common result for stored victorian jewellery. The fob chain is 40cm in length. The smallest links are 4.6mm in width and 2.1mm in thickness. The largest links are 6.6mm in width and 3.2mm in thickness. The T-bar is 38.0mm in length and 2.4mm in diameter. The dog clasps are 22.5mm in length and they will fit any standard size pocket watch bow or medallion. In perfectly wearable condition. Can be worn as a necklace or as a double Albertina fob watch chain. Will be posted with a jewellery pouch. Please view the pictures for more infomation. 9ct Gold Aquamarine Bar Pin Brooch. Solid 9ct yellow gold. The stone is in very good condition, almost no chips or scratches visible even under 10x magnification. The gold has a few fine scratches and very small dents on the surface, otherwise in good condition. The stone has not been tested as the jeweller I get my stones tested at are currently closed. I believe the stone to be aquamarine because there are no scratches on the the stone and the colour exactly matches other aquamarine stones I own. Despite my confidence that the stone is an aquamarine, the stone may a different stone such as a topaz or apatite. So just keep that in mind when purchasing this brooch. The stone is definitely not glass as it is a hard stone at about 7-8 and there are inclusions visible in the stone. No bubbles are visible in the stone either. The stone is slightly loose in its setting, it will not fall out unless an excessive amount of force is applied. The pin is made from brass and the front/setting of the brooch is solid 9ct gold.
