For your consideration: Antique 9k solid rose gold Victorian or Edwardian bracelet with a 9k solid rose gold padlock clasp, and a 9k security chain. The original padlock clasp was very worn and opened randomly, so I sourced a vintage rose gold padlock that is in excellent condition and is very secure. The 9k gold security chain threads through the padlock and attaches to either end of the bracelet. This bracelet weighs a hefty 25.35 grams and is 7.5 long. There are alternating links: an oval ornate link that measures 10mm by 15mm, with a 6mm by 4mm oval garnet bezel set in it. This is followed by a link made of graduating bars that measures 8mm by 15mm. The gold is thick and solid. The links with the stones are fully enclosed in thick gold except for the table of the garnet. The stones are a small fraction of the total weight. This bracelet is absolutely exquisite. The rose gold is beautiful on the skin. It is a statement bracelet, but with the strength of 9k gold it can be worn every day. It looks best alone, because it is so ornate and it demands attention. It looks nice with a simple bangle that accentuates it but doesn’t compete. I had this bracelet professionally cleaned, tested, and checked for damage or repairs. It is in amazing condition. There are some scratches on the garnets from wear, but I did not have them replaced in respect the age of the piece, and it may have altered the settings. There haven’t been any repairs.
